Artist Profile
Potter Yasuko Ozeki was born in Hiroshima City in 1968. She graduated from the Nagoya Institute of Technology before studying ceramics at the Aichi Prefectural Ceramics Technical College in 1995. Ozeki-san currently lives and work in the outskirts of Seto City where she produces a distinctive range of functional tableware. Ozeki-san's vessels are characterized by the use of zogan (inlay) techniques to decorate her vessels, and the pink, green and bronze tones that are common features in her work.
