A small Bizen ware vessel that can be used for pouring serving sake or at the dinner table for dressings or sauces.

Bizen ware is unglazed stoneware which has been made in Okayama Prefecture since the 12th century. Hitoshi Morimoto who specialises in bizen-ware fired these vessels for 10 days in a wood fired kiln and the nature of the bizen clay, position of the pots in the kiln and temperature all contribute to making each unique.
