Ebony Kashikiri

Kashikiri are small blunt knives with a pick like end traditionally used in Japan for eating sweets. Kazuto Yoshikawa chose a beautifully patterned ebony to fashion this series of knives.

Kazuto Yoshikawa studied wood craft and furniture making.the Academy of Forest Science and Culture in Gifu prefecture. He established his independent studio in Tokyo in 2014 and currently produces wooden utensils and furniture.
