Exquisite shapes and thin forms with subtle deformations characterize Yoshida's ceramic vessels, which he produces in shades of black and white and grey. This series of porcelain vases were finished with an ash glaze tinted with a metallic pigment.

After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, Naotsugu Yoshida studied under well known ceramic artist Taizo Kuroda. In 2003 he built his own kiln at the foothills of Mt.Fuji and began production of his ceramic tableware and vessels which he exhibits regularly in Japan.
