Since completing his studies at the Architecture and Environmental Design department of Osaka Sangyo University in 2000, potter Toru Hatta has been producing and exhibiting his ceramic tableware. Although Hatta produces work in a variety of styles he specializes in the decorative inlay technique Mishima, which had its origins in Korea.
