Kannyu (Crackle Glaze) Rice Bowl
14th generation potter Hanako Nakazato divides her time and creative energy between her studio in Japan, where she was born and raised, and in the US where she graduated from Smith University. Her ceramic work is not fixed to any one tradition, but instead draws influence from the time spent in both countries.
Hanako-san produced this series of kohiki tableware at her studio in Karatsu. Each handmade piece will vary slightly in size and appearance.
