At his workshop in Saitama Prefecture, Atsushi Honda uses a variety of repurposed woods to shape his simple, textured cutting boards, spoons, and tableware. Honda carefully selects wood that has been aged naturally by the elements over long periods of time. During this process, the wood takes on interesting patterns and textures which he incorporates into his designs making each spoon and board unique.
