Toru Hatta

Potter Toru Hatta was born in Kanazawa in 1977. Since graduating from the Architecture and Environmental Design department of Osaka Sangyo University in 2000, he has been producing and exhibiting his ceramic work in Japan. Although Hatta produces pottery in a variety of styles he is best known for his work done using the decorative inlay technique Mishima, which had its origins in Korea.
