Natsu Hasegawa is a potter based in Kanagawa Prefecture. She mainly uses clay from Tokoname, but also selectively utilizes Karatsu clay or rough clay depending on the piece. While apple ash glaze is her signature glaze she also produces works with pine ash, iron glaze and hakeme (slip-trailed) decoration. Her tableware accentuates the characteristics of the clay and glazes through simple forms.
