Takastuki are pedestal stands traditionally used for serving sweets or presenting buddhist offerings in the home. Woodcraft-artist Tatsuya Aida produce this series of stands in varying forms and sizes in beautifully grained Sakura (Japanese Cherry), Zelkova, Kuwa, Plum, Kurumi and Walnut.
The small stands are ideal for presenting small pastries and confections.
