『Hatta Toru Ceramics 』
To commemorate the launch of the Hatta Toru Solo Exhibition World Tour 2025-26—a worldwide solo exhibition that will kick off in New York in March 2025 and travel to Shanghai, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Toronto, and Sydney—ceramic artist Hatta Toru’s first-ever collection of works has been published.
Firing his anagama kiln every month, the artist pours his passion into each creation, bringing his works to life and deeply moving those who experience them. This book features powerful, newly photographed images of his works alongside approximately 3,000 words of text detailing his dedication to ceramics.
Each book is signed by the artist.

Toru Hatta
Born in Ishikawa in 1977. Began working as a potter in 2003. Built an Anagama kiln in 2004. He has pottery workshops in Tondabayashi and Sakai, Osaka, and built his second Anagama kiln in April 2022. He exhibits his works at exhibitions in Japan and abroad.
