Keiko and Tsunehisa Gunji run Gunji Seitousho (Gunji Pottery Studio), based in the small pottery town of Mashiko. The couple produce ceramic work both jointly and separately as individual artists. While Tsunehisa works primarily on a wheel shaping the vessels, Keiko decorates the pieces. They produce functional ceramics for daily use, and the studio's aesthetic reflects the rustic charm of the town and surrounding area.
