Hand-blown Glass Container (Clear) / Ø13cm x h9cm

Matsumoto based glass artist Taku Eiki produces hand-blow glass vessels under the brand name "RITOGLASS". Eiki comments about his work: "These glass vessels are nothing more or less than containers. There is something to be contained, and someone to use it. My works are completed by someone putting something in them". His vessels have elegant, refined shapes and he strives to keep their colors and forms simple and uncomplicated.

Taku Eiki (RITOGLASS)
1979: Born in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
2002: Graduated from the Tokyo Glass Art Institute's comprehensive foundation course.2006: Graduated from the Glass Program at the Department of Crafts, Tama Art University.
Employed at Azumino Glass Studio in Toyohashi Development Corporation until March 2012.
Assistant at the Glass Program at the Department of Crafts, Tama Art University until March 2016.
2017: Established the glass workshop "Rito Glass" with glass artist Kyoko Tanaka.
