Tebineri (hand-built) Teapot / Vol: 200ml

Since his days as a student at Tokyo University of the Arts, potter Tamotsu Suzuki has been working on the production of objects inspired by the organic forms found in nature. While his fascination with plant life is most evident in his sculptural work and objects, the shapes, forms and textures of his tableware vessels also reflect this interest. Most of his vessels are hand-built (tebineri) which is a forming method that uses only the hands and fingers to shape the vessel resulting in more organic, rustic forms.
